I collage, paint, and print illustrated series and artist books based on sentimental observations of care, place, and seasons.

Guided by grief — particularly the loss of elders and teachers — my art practice endeavors to craft heirlooms that record and pass down attention and tenderness for everyday living. As a first-generation Polish-American, I’m also curious about how we bridge gaps in knowledge of craft, language, food, and homemaking created by absence, distance, ephemerality, and translation.

My storytelling and visual styles are rooted in my Polish-American upbringing in New York and travels to Poland. Polish folk art traditions, especially paper cuts from the Łowicz region, play an important role in my choice of materials, techniques, and formats.
